Terms and Conditions
1. Appointments and Bookings
Appointments can be requested via the website enquiry form, email, or phone. Submission of an enquiry does not guarantee an appointment. All appointments are subject to availability and will be confirmed by Sarah Jane Reflexology.
Once an appointment has been agreed, payment is required to secure the booking.
Appointments are confirmed once payment has been received.
2. Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
As treatment room hire and preparation costs are incurred for every appointment, bookings cannot be held without payment.
Fees are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and may be updated from time to time, with current pricing displayed on the Sarah Jane Reflexology website.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

You are welcome to reschedule or cancel your appointment free of charge with more than 48 hours' notice.

If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment, the full appointment fee may be retained.

Failure to attend an appointment without notice ("no-show") will result in the full appointment fee being retained.

Exceptions may be considered in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances at the practitioner's discretion.

4. Arrival
Please be mindful that arriving late to an appointment will result in a necessary reduction in treatment time, and the treatment will still be billed at the full treatment price.
If you are more than 30 minutes late, this will count as a ‘no show’ and the session will be cancelled.
5. Health Information
To ensure your treatment is safe and appropriate, all clients are required to complete a consultation form before their first appointment and inform Sarah Jane Reflexology of any health conditions, medications, allergies, injuries, pregnancy, or changes to their health that may affect treatment.
All personal information is treated confidentially and managed in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
6.Pregnancy
If you are pregnant, please inform us so we can amend your treatment accordingly to ensure your safety and comfort. Please note, we cannot treat anyone in their first trimester of pregnancy.
7. Scope of Practice
Reflexology is a complementary therapy intended to support relaxation, wellbeing, and the body's natural processes.
Reflexologists do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication, or provide medical treatment.
Reflexology should not be considered a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

8. Children
Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must remain on the premises during the appointment.
9. Privacy
Personal information collected during booking and treatment is treated confidentially and managed in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Personal and health information is collected for the purpose of providing reflexology services, managing appointments, maintaining treatment records, and meeting professional obligations.
Information is stored securely and is accessible only to the practitioner unless disclosure is required by law or authorised by the client.
Clients may request access to their personal information and request correction of any information that is inaccurate.
10. Disclaimer
While every care is taken to provide safe and professional treatments, results may vary from person to person.
All treatments and information provided by Sarah Jane Reflexology are intended to support wellbeing and do not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that reflexology is a complementary therapy and that you are responsible for your own health and wellbeing decisions.
11. Practitioner Cancellation
In the unlikely event that an appointment must be cancelled by Sarah Jane Reflexology, clients will be offered an alternative appointment time or a full refund.
12. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time, without prior notice . The most current version will be available on the Sarah Jane Reflexology website.
